At WPT Festa Al Lago. Amit Makhija racked up $16,120 in earnings thanks to his 39th place finish. Doc Sands, Hoyt Corkins and Zach Clark also played strong, but they weren’t fortunate to leave the tournament with money. With millions of dollars to their name already, we’ll let this non-victory slide.

Bubbajim98 Gets Close to $10k Bonus in $50k Bounty

In Wednesday’s $50k Bounty tournament, bubbajim98 knocked out Hoyt Corkins, prov190 successfully eliminated Mike Caro and ibuyislands picked off Todd Brunson. Bubbajim98 inched close to a $10k payday by nearly picking off a second pro, but he was rivered by Todd Brunson who landed a Queen for a straight to win the pot.

Three New Qualifiers for the Punta Cana Poker Classic

Doyle, Pam, Todd and Louise Brunson are all confirmed for the Punta Cana Poker Classic. Thanks to the Brunson name, the island poker tournament is attracting global attention. Three DoylesRoom players have already won seats and each one comes from a different corner of the globe. Raider696969 from Quebec, Canada was first to cross the finish line through a $12 satellite. Virginia player RvrMonster also took down a $12 satellite for a seat. And local boy stackindonks from the Dominican Republic, who doesn’t have far to go for the tourney, will have a lot of extra spending money after placing 18th in Sunday’s $75k GTD.

DoylesRoom’s top pros went on a reign of Texas Hold’em terror online and off this past week with Daniel Kelly taking down a major online poker tournament, two Brunson 10 pros cashing at the WPT Legends of Poker and a longtime DoylesRoom pro doing the same.

Daniel Kelly Wins $26,000 Online

Back online in a major tournament series, Daniel Kelly of The Brunson 10 placed first in a $300+20 Pot Limit Omaha tournament on August 23 and won $26,000. He now has close to $6 million in lifetime winnings and a 2010 WSOP bracelet all at the age of just 21.

Three DoylesRoom Pros Cash at WPT Legends of Poker

Brunson 10 pro David Sands earned $15,500 for a 17th place finish in the WPT Legends of Poker tournament at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California. Amit Makhija added $10,200 to his career winnings after finishing in 45th place and longtime DoylesRoom pro Allen Kessler added $13,000 to his tournament winnings this year thanks to a 20th place finish in the same WPT poker tournament.

MadJoker used his mad poker skills to take home a $10,000 bonus prize for picking off Pam Brunson and Mike Caro. The $10,000 bounty bonus would have been $50,000 if Lebron Wade hadn’t got to Todd Brunson first and swiped a $1,000 bounty for himself. If you think MadJoker just got mad lucky, think again. He also took first place in the tournament and pocketed himself a $500 handful of DoylesCasino chips.

Beat the Brunson 10
In Monday’s Beat The Brunson 10 tournament, we plastered a target onto the back of every player with a $10 bounty, but the real money was on the heads of our Brunson 10 Pros. Rinat1989 picked off Doc Sands, jwberner24 took out Dani Stern, and Horshoe eliminated Alex Kamberis, each earning $500. Rakenurmoney took home the $1,000 Champion’s Bonus for outlasting every other player and winning the tournament.

•The $200k Guarantee on Sunday was a big success. 742 players were locked and loaded with chips, aiming for the $200,000 in guaranteed prize money. BakomRyggen won the tournament to claim $40,700. The Brunson 10’s newest pro Doc Sands finished in 18th place. It was his first serious online poker tournament since becoming a Brunson 10 member.

•Wednesday night’s $50,000 Doyle’s Bounty Tournament title went to Shadez8, who edged out twasi for the $1,501 first place prize. Our big bounty winners were Countrygal1 who took out Mike Caro, Lilyluck12 who picked of Hoyt Corkins and Chip Carnage who blew Pam Brunson out of the tournament.

•Prime Time Fights
They came, they saw, they left defeated. Our Prime Time Fights monthly heavyweight leaderboard winners from May and June got the chance to play against the Brunson 10 pro of their choice for $750. The two matches saw Ebolorama take on Alex Kamberis and trannyinawig enter the ring with Steve Gross. Both Brunson 10 members left the brawl without a scratch but Ebolorama and trannyinawig still earned $250 for having the guts to show up.
